Black Church Print Studio International Residency, Dublin, Ireland, 2011

In July 2011 Antonia was awarded an International Artist-in-Residence at Black Church Print Studio in Dublin.The work she developed during the residency is a series of woodcut prints based on the reflections of the city on the Liffey River, continuing her investigations of rivers and the role they play in our lives and environment. In February / March Antonia undertook a 7 week residency at Women's Studio Workshop.  While she was there, Antonia embarked a series of woodcut prints. The work was inspired by the post industrial landscape of the Hudson Valley and in particular the Binniwater and Rosendale Mine holes. VIEW WORK


 

Bundanon Trust Residency, Bundanon, NSW, 2009

In October 2009 Antonia undertook a month-long residnecy at Bundanon on the Shoalhaven River. Antonia focused on the tidal nature of the river and used the tides to draw with. VIEW WORK


Bathurst Regional Gallery Hill End Residency, Hill End, NSW, 2008

In July 2008 Antonia undertook a month long residency at Hill End in NSW. The residency is part of the Bathurst Regional Gallery's Artist in Residence Program and was in collaboration with Canberra based Composer Timothy Hansen. The residency was an opportunity for both artists to share their arts practices while experiencing and exploring the place and it's community. While in Hill End Antonia and Tim facilitated an art and music making workshop for three of the the local primary schools in the area. The aim of the workshops was to bring the schools together, to share their stories through making shadow puppets and music and for Antonia and Tim to learn more about the local communities.
